Calorimeter Adriano explains the note on pi0 mass resolution studying the decay e+e- --> pi+pi-pi0. The paper can be found on the em-calorimeter section of the padova web page. The energy resolution of a 15 cm thick Kloe type Pcal turn out to be sigmaE/E = 11%/sqrt(E)(GeV). The multiple scattering produced by 1 mm thick Al beam pipe is of the order of 2mrad. The suggestion is made to put crystals into the central part of the detector. That topic will be discussed in the next meeting. Simulation Matteo will put the pipe into his simulation in order to take into account the multiple scattering. LOI The EPAC meeting will be on Sep. 24 so we should present the LOI on Aug. 27. There are some items to modify or to add to the old LOI, the most important of which are: - g-2 update - vector meson spectroscopy - form factor - gamma-gamma physics - background - measurement of R - detector section It would be useful to find a coordinator for each section. Diego and Mark will coordinate the entire work. Other Rinaldo suggests to prepare a kind of "official" set of transparences and plots for everybody giving a talk on PEP-N. Diego will take care of that.
